Message from the Peterborough & District Football League
We are growing concerned with the abuse aimed at Match Officials on Social Media, whether it be a manager, player, spectator or otherwise.
This is unacceptable and this does get reported to County FA.
Please can you pass on to any relevant persons within your Clubs that this is unacceptable and should not be happening.
Whilst we can appreciate that frustrations can get the better of people, referees are only human and are key to the running of football. We are struggling enough as it is with the number of officials within the game and situations such as abuse on social media do not help this situation.
If you have any issues at all with an official, please contact us as a League or their relevant County FA and it can be dealt with accordingly.

A Big thank you to all those who attended today, the Club would also like to give special thanks to member Kerry Hudson and his volunteer team from Nordin Construction for the ground works.
Our Walking Football team are playing away to Sleaford today to help raise funds for Prostate Cancer UK and create awareness of prostate cancer thoughout September.
Prostate cancer claims the life of one man every 45 minutes, and has now overtaken breast cancer to become the third biggest cancer killer in the UK.
Please email Chris Biggins on walkingfootball@oundletownfc.co.uk if you would like to help him with the campaign throughout September.
