Walking Football Every Friday, 6-7 pm at Oundle Town Football Club
If you thought your football career was over, think again! Walking Football is a slower paced version of the game, aimed at the over 50s.
Smaller pitches and plenty of breaks ensure participants enjoy a safe and enjoyable return to football. The slower pace doesn’t detract from the competition though – it’s much more than a stroll in the park!
Watch the video with the one and only Barry Fry
Peterborough United Director of Football Barry Fry was in attendance this week at one of the new Walking Football sessions, set up specifically for players over 55. Walking Football is designed to take away the advantage younger players may have over older players by penalising running at any point during the game. The age ranges on display were between 55, with the oldest player being 78 years old.
When?
Every Friday 6-7 pm.
Where?
Oundle Town Football Club, Station Road, Oundle
Please note this is a grass pitch but no football boots allowed. We will be playing across the pitch with smaller goals.

You will be required to fill out a registration form which declares any medical issues.

Come down and give it a go – we’re confident that once you’ve tried it, you’ll love it!
